Made with 7 plies of North American maple wood, pressed together with specific glues to ensure maximum strength, pop (the board's responsiveness when performing an ollie or other tricks), and durability. Powell Peralta is known for the quality of its decks, and this board is no exception. The 7-ply construction is an industry standard for high-quality boards. Some recent versions use birch wood.  

Graphics:
The "Dragon" graphic is an iconic Powell Peralta classic, often revisited in different variations. In this "One Off" version, the background color is a light blue, giving the board a fresh and distinctive look. The graphic is the work of Vernon Courtlandt Johnson (VCJ), the artist who created many of Powell Peralta's most famous graphics.
